Make a difference Eirene Ministry Objectives for 2010
Eirene Education Center
- Provide classes up through fifth grade.
- Work with the government program of INEA so that our courses will cover all the necessary material the students will need to complete their sixth grade graduation exam.
- Have the school and teachers fully funded by monthly donations by the end of 2010, through our two new support programs. (If you are interested in helping, please go to the "Support Programs" section of our website.)
Dental clinic
- Work with local businesses to cover the services of the clinic so we can provide help for free to those in need or at the cost of material. (If you are interested in being part of this ministry, please visit the "Support Programs" section of our website.)
- Promote the orthodontics services we can now provide through the clinic.
- Utilize the new mobile dental unit to serve foster care homes, churches, communities and schools. Visiting a new place for one week each month to provide dental services.
Training classes Work with individuals in the communities where we are serving, continuing with sewing classes, providing classes in healthy food preparation, and providing classes in English and AUTOCAD through a local university.
Homeopathic clinic
- Promote the clinic better in order to see an average of 10 patients per week.
- Provide classes to the community in general health and dietary needs.
English classes
Work to find someone who would be willing to direct the English classes and restart this ministry. (If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please visit the "Support Programs" section of our website and look at volunteer opportunities.)
Construction
Begin work on the second story of the education center by applying for grants and utilizing the help of work teams coming in 2010.
Camichines
- Finish the second story of the home to include a large room for schooling, more bedrooms and an apartment for volunteers.
- Begin work on a project for a farm to help make the foster home a self-sustaining ministry.
